Capsicum Oleoresin BP/USP is obtained by solvent extraction of the dried fruits of Capsicum annuum or Capsicum frutescens. It conforms to BP and USP standards, making it suitable for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food-grade applications.
The oleoresin is deep red in color, rich in capsaicinoids (capsaicin & dihydrocapsaicin) which impart its pungency and therapeutic value.
